Russell Schneider was elected as Councilmember District 4 in May, 2004. He is President and co-owner with his wife, Joy, of R.T. Schneider Construction, which they founded in 1997.
Councilmember Schneider is an active member in the Temple Chamber of Commerce. He is also very active in the Temple Economic Development Corporation and the Temple Area Builders Association, where he serves on the Governmental Affairs Committee and the Home-Pac Committee.
Councilmember Schneider and his wife, Joy, have two sons and one daughter.
