    Public Works 3210 East Avenue H, Bldg ASte 130 Temple, TX 76501 Phone: (254) 298-5621 Link: Public Works page The Department of Public Works is responsible for providing maintenance and operations services for the City of Temple's Utility Services (Water Distribution, Water Treatment, Wastewater/Sewer Collection, and Drainage), as well as providing Engineering and inspection services for all new development. The department also is responsible for Street Services and Traffic Signal repair and maintenance, Solid Waste administration and services, Fleet Maintenance, and administrative contracts for Wastewater Treatment (Doshier Farm). The focus of this new department is maintenance and improvement of existing infrastructure, along with assisting in the logical, planned growth of the city itself.
