Travel to
Alaska with Hands On at the CAC
Hosted by volunteers from the CAC Contemporaries, Hands On is a multidisciplinary field trip for 3rd and 4th grade "tourists" learning about the culture of different times, people and places.
This one-stop education field trip uses music and movement, theatre, visual arts and a museum visit to teach children about the world beyond their community. During 2009, young visitors will "travel" to Alaska.
Legend tells of many great adventures to be had at Hands On and this expedition will be filled with many great activities!
Each year this program and created and presented by CAC Staff and The Contemporaries, who have made children's art a primary focus since 1974.
